How long have you been playing DBC? I’ve been playing DBC for about 3 years since July of 2014
How long have you been playing minecraft? I’ve been playing Minecraft since 2013
How often can you get on the server? Every day, but there are some exceptions. Some weekends I’m gone, and I’ll notify you when that happens, but normally it lasts for 1 – 1.5 days so I’ll miss maximum one day a week.
From 1-10 how would you rate your knowledge of the mod? I would rate my knowledge of the mod at around an 8.5/10, and that’s because I haven’t really played namekian much and don’t know as much as I’d like about some of the numbers involved with some entities and stat calculations.
From 1-10 how would you rate your knowledge of the server? I would rate my knowledge of the server at 9/10. I’d say that I know just about everything, but I haven’t experienced some of the custom storylines so I can’t really go up to 10.
From 1-10 how would you rate your knowledge of the commands? I would definitely put that at a 10/10. I know most of the essentials commands from messing with them and being staff on other servers, along with setting up a server for a guy I met online for $5. I know the dbc commands pretty well from running a hamachi server with the mod for my friends a little while ago.
How long have you been part of the server? I’ve been a part of the server since I started playing DBC, which was July 2014, But I didn’t really get too involved in the community back then. I did, however, play for a pretty long time from August to November 2016 before leaving for a little while. I came back about a week ago and reacquainted myself with the server to catch up, and I’m now confidently ahead of the curve from what I know of with knowledge of the server.
How well do you get along with players? I get along with the players pretty well, and as far as I know, not a single player that I’ve seen dislikes me. I’ve been helping people ever since I got back, which has definitely gotten some people to like me.
How well do you know the map? I would rate my knowledge of the map at 9.5/10, as I’ve been through just about all of it, but I haven’t been in the underground dungeon, or end saga location (if there is one).
How well do you know players? I know the players pretty well, and even better with the older ones. I’ve taken quite a bit of time to get to know some of them a bit better. I know some of the staff that have been around for a bit longer pretty well, as I was there up to a little bit before the world reset.
Are you up to date with the mods? Definitely. I’ve had to use CustomNPCs quite a bit for other reasons, although I don’t know it as well as I’d like, and as I’ve stated above, I know the DBC mod very well.
Why do you think you are fit for this position? I think that I am fit for this position because I take a lot of time to help people on the server with their problems. A lot of times when there are no staff on (or the staff that are online are afk), and people ask for staff, I usually ask them if I could help them, then proceed to help them. I also do this when there are staff on, because I’ve seen that they have a lot to do, and they can’t always get to everyone. I’ve also got decent experience with moderating communities before, and I know what to do in just about every situation.

I haven’t really done much staffing in minecraft, but I was a moderator on a star wars server in Garry’s Mod for a little while, and you can contact the owner of the server (although it has since shut down) on steam at [CR] Dr.Moon. I was also good friends with most of the staff on another server that shut down in july 2016, and learned quite a bit about staffing on servers from them.
What is your main language? English, but I also know a decent amount of spanish from taking classes in school.
What is your time zone? EST +5:00
Tell us about yourself a bit. I’m 14, and live in Maryland, USA. I like messing with computers and programming, and know quite a bit about coding with python and javascript, along with good knowledge of HTML and CSS, which I use quite a bit for personal projects. I recently took apart a computer and put it back together to get a better understanding of the parts, and if I don’t look like enough of a computer nerd yet, I sometimes decompile game code just to look at how some games are written. I also make small mods for some games, usually ones that have lua-based apis, such as gmod and the binding of isaac, and normally use them for myself or give them to my friends. I also play a lot of videogames, and originally pirated minecraft in 2013, buying it a few months later when I finally got the chance to, and started playing it on my 2012 laptop playing it at 15 fps using a trackpad. That got me into PC Gaming, and I now have a steam account with over 25 games. I don’t really like anime that much, but I’ve seen just about every episode of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, along with seeing all of Dragon Ball GT. I know quite a bit about the lore of it, and also the lore of some things like star wars, and overall am known as a person that spends way too much time on the computer. I also like making big walls of text ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What can you provide for the server? I can help people when others can’t, or aren’t willing to, and I also speak a bit of spanish, which I’ve used recently to help a spanish-speaking person on the server, such as yesterday when I told one how to get to /warp plains to train. I also know the way to punish people based on certain things pretty well, and know not to push people if they don’t want to talk. I also know not to freak out every time someone is killed, asking what happened. I have quite a bit of experience with people leaving while I’m talking to them, and I know quite a bit about the psychology of what people do when they do something that they know will get them in trouble. I’m also able to stay on until 3:30 am EST, or 8:30 am GMT, because my beginning of day classes require very little energy, and I’m able to stay on for very long hours. For example, on wednesday, I was on from 2:30 PM to 3:45 AM.
What position would be your main goal? If I never go above helper, that’ll be fine for me, because I don’t see this as a way to get power. I see it as a way to imrpove my ability to help people. Sometimes when I offer to help people, they ignore me and ask if there’s staff on (this is of course when there are none on), and don’t accept my help for a bit. Being just a helper would cause people to go to me when they need help, meaning that it would be much easier for me to help people with their problems and make the community stronger.
